The Dacia Duster is one of the most successful off-road budget cars in the world and enormously popular. The Duster I (2010–2017) and Duster II (2018–present) are equipped with the Update List and Media Nav radio respectively with PRE-code security. Due to the adventurous use of the Duster — off-roading, camping, towing — a battery problem or power interruption outdoors is not an exceptional situation. The PRE-code sticker in the Dacia Duster is behind the glove compartment on the back wall. On the Duster II with Media Nav, the sticker may also be on the back of the navigation screen. Due to the rougher use of the Duster, the sticker is sometimes less well preserved — use a torch in that case for a clear reading. Remove the navigation screen via clips if the sticker is not readable.
